Vivo Defence cut carbon and energy costs with sustainable solar street lighting.

Vivo Defence, a joint venture between Serco and EQUANS, sought an easy-to-deploy, cost-effective and environmentally sustainable lighting solution to update and improve the lighting quality for its residents across the Brompton estate.

The Project

After a site visit, Prolectric developed a complete lighting design and proposal, ensuring the new lighting would meet British lighting and Vivo Defence's health and safety standards. 

A total of 89 AE3 Solar LED street lights were retrofitted and installed by Prolectric's experienced installation team in just two weeks. With no need to install cables or dig trenches, the installation was low impact on the families living on site, who now enjoy bright and reliable year-round lighting.   

With no mains power needed, AE3 solar street lights were the ideal solution for Vivo Defence to help reduce energy costs and lower its carbon footprint.
