Friday, 10 September 2021
Prolectric were delighted to once again host the Rt Hon Dr Liam Fox - MP for North Somerset on 10th September 2021.
This was Dr Fox’s second visit to Prolectric, where he was able to see first hand our rapid growth and continually evolving product set.
Dr Fox learned how Prolectric’s permanent and temporary solar lights have driven huge reductions in diesel usage across key industries, as well as significant reductions in carbon output.

Prolectric’s managing director Chris Williams told Dr Fox:
"Since launching our first solar lighting tower in 2017, our clients have reduced their diesel usage by a massive 5,818,474 litres and saved an incredible 15,599,199 kg of CO2 (Jan 2017 - Aug 2021). This will rise further over the coming years as we roll out our new solar hybrid power generators - a new, clean, sustainable way of bringing temporary power to construction and infrastructure projects”.
Dr Fox also discussed our recent Queens Award for Enterprise (in the Sustainable Development category) and congratulated us on the prestigious award.
We'd like to thank Dr Fox and his team for their time. It was a pleasure to host you and we look forward to our next meeting.
