NCE Tunnelling Festival Awards 2020

We are pleased to announce that Prolectric have just been shortlisted in the category Innovation in Fit-out, Maintenance & Refurbishment for the ProTrack Link Lighting at the NCE Tunnelling Festival Awards 2020.

This category recognises the inherent value of existing underground infrastructure and work delivered to ensure operational efficiency and maximise the life span of such assets.

The Prolectric ProTrack is a rechargeable, lithium battery-powered, LED link lighting system. It offers a diesel-free modular, off-grid solution for illuminating night-time track maintenance for use within the rail industry.

Developed in early 2019 driven by a customer need to reduce noise and emissions in the tunnel environment where traditional solutions used noisy, polluting diesel generators, the ProTrack operates with no noise and no emissions. Another benefit of the ProTrack is that it does not require diesel top up resulting in removing the risk of on-site spillages as well as reduced manpower to operate the system.
