Prolectric Showcase at Highways UK

18-19 October, NEC, Birmingham

 Monday, 16 October 2023

Prolectric, the off-grid, renewable lighting and power specialist, will be showcasing their range of sustainable solar lighting and hybrid power technology on stand 238 at Highways UK at the NEC, Birmingham, 18-19 October 2023.

As a market leader, committed to providing practical and commercially viable ways for businesses to stop using fossil fuels to reduce carbon emissions, Prolectric was the first to introduce all-in-one solar street lighting to the UK in 2011. Since then, Prolectric have continued to set new engineering standards to design and build sustainable solar lighting and hybrid power technology to meet the demands of the harshest UK weather conditions.

Prolectric will showcase the revolutionary ‘ProPower 3-Phase’ Solar Hybrid power unit, which offers up to 60kW of hybrid power, with 30kVA inverter output and 105kWh of battery storage, providing greater flexibility to scale sustainable power to suit individual site conditions. The three-phase ProPower can also be connected with existing diesel generators up to 100kVA to further expand on-site power capacity.

In response to market demand, Prolectric will also showcase the new ProRXM Solar Hybrid Lighting Tower, which provides highly efficient, dual-purpose walkway and task lighting for Highway and Rail works.

The new space efficient solar-first hybrid ProRXM lighting tower is specifically designed for a trackside cess or tight roadside space, and boasts four bright multi-directional 180W LED lights which can be dimmed, monitored, and scheduled remotely.

The versatile lighting design function makes it suitable for paths and walkways, where it can be fully powered from three 270W solar panels with 8kW of usable battery bank storage. Alternatively, the lights can be turned up for task lighting, where its autonomous and efficient 2.8kW DC engine, which uses just 0.5 litres per hour can provide backup power.

Both the ProPower 3-Phase and ProRXM Hybrid can be fully controlled both locally using a touchscreen controller or remotely via an advanced web portal. Key performance metrics and in-depth fuel, carbon and cost savings reports are available too.

Visitors to the Prolectric stand at Highways will be able to view the award winning ProLight solar lighting tower, alongside the popular ProTemp lighting column.  As an industry leader in sustainable lighting solutions, serving a wide range of industries from highways, rail to major infrastructure, construction and housebuilding, Prolectric has a continued commitment to design and develop more environmentally-friendly, efficient lighting systems that help to reduce carbon emissions.
